BEIJING, Nov. 14, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Jianzhi Education Technology Group Company Limited (the “Company” or “Jianzhi”) (NASDAQ: JZ), a leading provider of digital educational content in China, announced today that the Company has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement “Action Plan for Ten Schools and 100 Enterprises” with the Modern Industry-Education Integration Promotion Center of Shanghai Pudong New Area (the “Center”) to jointly develop initiatives to strengthen cooperation among local governments, schools and enterprises to develop cross-border e-commerce talent and create a platform ecosystem for modern vocational education (the “Cooperation”).

Jianzhi focuses on employment- and enterprise-oriented practical training, providing digital educational content and intelligent educational solutions for domestic higher education institutions and institutional customers. By leveraging the cooperation, Jianzhi will create courses for beginners entering the spheres of cross-border e-commerce and digital marketing, trained and guided by experienced practitioners with over 20 years of experience in related industries.

In the “14. “Five-Year Plan” for E-Commerce Development, jointly released by China’s Ministry of Commerce, the Cyberspace Administration and the Development and Reform Commission (the “Plan”), an important indicator system for the development of e-commerce was established for the first time. According to the plan, cross-border e-commerce will be flagged as having strategic value. By 2025, the population engaged in e-commerce in China is expected to reach 70 million, and the number of cross-border e-commerce transactions is expected to grow to RMB 2.5 trillion.

Jianzhi, the center, universities and well-known platforms will jointly carry out activities aimed at promoting and retaining cross-border e-commerce talents to solve problems and obstacles related to the shortage and low retention rate of e-commerce talents to overcome in smaller cities in China. The cooperation also aims to provide permanent talent development and create a pool of intellectual talents for industrial upgrading and companies wishing to expand their business abroad in China and the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone.

Yong Hu, CEO of the company, commented, “We are pleased to announce our cooperation with Modern Industry-Education Integration Promotion Center as we both see the rise of e-commerce industry in China. For example, there are about 500,000 Chinese companies already engaged in e-commerce business, and about 10 million other small and medium-sized enterprises are looking for opportunities to expand their business in overseas countries. In the first half of 2022, China’s foreign trade exports topped RMB11.1 trillion, up 13.2% year-on-year, suggesting there is a major skills shortage amid the growth of China’s e-commerce sector .”

“Our partnership aims to provide modern and cutting-edge education and training that would help fill the talent shortage in the national and cross-border e-commerce space, which is expected to reach nearly 10 million in the next five years. We believe the collaboration will help Jianzhi expand its business scope and establish an industry presence in e-commerce education, which will create long-term value for our partners and shareholders.”
